?? The Clios Music Award Winner ?? Writing music that’s intentionally bad is an art form. It takes real skill to make something sound effortless, awkward, or hilariously off-key—without it feeling actually bad. The right balance of cringe and catchiness is what makes it stick in your brain (whether you want it to or not). For our JanSport campaign, we had to craft songs that felt like they were written by an overly earnest college student, belting out their weirdest, saddest, and most mundane moments. It had to be funny, but also just good enough to be memorable. That’s the magic (and challenge) of comedic songwriting—lean too far one way, and it’s unlistenable; too far the other, and it’s actually a bop. Shoutout to our (actual) cast who made the bad sound so good. We're so proud of the team, our partners (Field Unit, directors Miche Sieg and Rose Chirillo) and the campaign which continues to land awards. ??♂? ??♂? ??♂? We’ve been looking forward to sharing this one. MOUTHWASH Studio dreamed up an incredibly cool stills and video campaign for Nike Running, and brought us in to produce. This project had everything for us — 16mm film, remote locations, extreme athletes, brutal and beautiful weather, mud, blood, sweat, tears. We brought together new friends and old, and created some bold emotional storytelling for one of the best brands to ever do it.
