Meet Darcy Sullivan, Vice President of Corporate Communications at FICO, manager of the FICO Blog and FICO World’s MC. Since joining in 1993, Darcy has witnessed FICO’s evolution from a small, almost family-run business to a global leader in analytics and software. “Back then, FICO was a place for those who loved intellectual challenges, and that’s even more true today. I feel fortunate to be part of a company that values talent over title.” One of Darcy’s proudest achievements is launching the FICO Decisions Awards in 2010. “We began with three awards, and in 2024, we gave out 18. The awards highlight our customers' innovative work and have become a key part of FICO World. A huge thank you to Saxon Shirley, who has elevated the program.” Darcy’s advice for aspiring professionals is to master public speaking. “Presenting a compelling case with confidence will impress everyone from teammates to executives. Study presentation techniques, find your style, and take every opportunity to present. It might be nerve-wracking at first, but it’s a skill that will boost your career.” Darcy lives in London with his English wife and two adult children.
