?? Designer Spotlight: Jamie Hayes of Production Mode ?? Production Mode is a slow fashion brand founded in 2015 by Chicago designer Jamie Hayes. Built as an alternative to the traditional fashion system, every Production Mode collection begins with an artist collaboration to create custom materials. Each garment is ethically made in Chicago with a focus on quality craftsmanship and sustainability. ??? In September 2023, Production Mode opened its first boutique in Chicago, offering ready-to-wear, made-to-measure, and custom design services. The shop also features a curated selection of independent designers and metalsmiths, many of whom are local to Chicago. ?? Jamie Hayes’ designs and work have been featured in Paper Magazine, ELLE Magazine and even on the cover of Billboard Magazine. Her approach to fashion is rooted in self-expression and labor rights.
