As members of last year's winning case competition team, three of our SHRM club members had the incredible opportunity to attend the HR Florida Conference in Orlando this past weekend. Alexa and Joanna, now proud FGCU graduates, have both already earned their SHRM-CP certifications. And Peyton, our current FGCU-SHRM President, continues to lead the way for our club. We love seeing our members reconnect, grow, and continue their journey in the HR field. ????
It was a pleasure attending the HR Florida State Council, Inc. Conference and Expo. I had an amazing time reuniting with my former teammates and meeting other HR Professionals! #HRFL24 #HRCommunity #HRLeaders #HeartsInAction

Another academic year in the books! For our grand finale, we were lucky to be joined by several special guests. First off, thank you Michele Snyder, Brandyn Wales, and Ellen Fox for keeping our members up to date on the many networking, service-learning, and scholarship opportunities that SHRM SWFL has to offer. Your dedication to creating avenues for growth is always appreciated! Next, a massive shout out to Bryn Goldsmith and the team of FGCU-SHRM volunteers for their outstanding impact through Azul's Attire. Together they were able to provide more than 500 students with professional attire! A round of applause for our 7 members who recently returned from the SHRM Talent Conference in Las Vegas. We enjoyed hearing your insights from the various sessions and appreciate the knowledge you've brought back to share with our group. And last but certainly not least, let's raise a glass to celebrate the graduation of three remarkable seniors: Matthew Ignotis, Charlie Elam, Natalia Perez! ?? Your contributions to our club have been immeasurable, and we're excited to see the bright futures ahead of you. ??
