Next week JJP Biologics CSO, Dr. Louis Boon, will present on Wednesday afternoon October 16th at the Festival of Biologics in Basel in the autoimmune. Louis Boon will touch upon JJP Biologics unique clinical strategy to bring JJP-1212 as fast as possible to patients. The JJP-1212 scientific rationale will be used to exemplify this strategy. The clinical observation is, that in almost every autoimmune and fibrotic disease, a subgroup of patients exists with high IgA autoantibodies that suffer from more severe disease and are less responsive to current available treatments. Since for all of those indications, disease-specific autoantigens are known, the levels of IgA autoantibodies can easily be determined as a potential stratification tool used already in early clinical studies. This will decrease the size and thus costs of such studies and will increase the potential of clinical success. Louis Boon will take you along the journey of JJP-1212. Cultivating HEK-293 in a compact system ? The CellScrew? is our innovative solution for the compact and efficient cultivation of adherent cells. To demonstrate its effectiveness, we cultivated HEK-293 cells in the system. The cells attached successfully to the surface and expanded consistently, benefiting from the controlled delivery of oxygen and nutrients. Remarkably, we achieved harvest efficiencies of around 90%, even with a reduced concentration of trypsin. In addition to its compact design, the CellScrew? offers an available surface from 850 cm2 to 10,000 cm2 that supports large-scale cell growth, optimizing space utilization without sacrificing cell yield. ?
