His construction career spans more than 50 years, and we're damn lucky the last 20 have been with us. We're grateful to celebrate Corporate Project Director Colin Tait’s 20 Years of Commitment to F&B today. He's a Harley ridin' carpenter by trade that has built and led about every type of project you can imagine and is an integral part of the dedicated team that brought F&B nationwide on large, complex concrete projects. He's been a mentor to countless team members that have grown into leaders, and built relationships that last with our customers and suppliers. Congratulations and thank you, Colin!

Great things are happening on-site at Kairoi Monroe Apartments in North Carolina, where we're setting an underground detention system with support from a powerhouse team: Elford, Inc., Oldcastle Infrastructure, and Lomma Crane & Rigging.

Michigan Concrete Association honors Fessler & Bowman at the 2025 Concrete Awards with the Commercial Special Innovative Flatwork Award! Rex Wheeler, project owner, and Modern Concrete took home the Commercial Special Innovative Flatwork Award for the revitalization of Owosso Speedway. The project included major upgrades to the track, grandstands, and facilities — including a new tech barn, maintenance building, fencing, and bleacher seating. To facilitate placement of nearly 520,000 square feet of fiber-reinforced concrete, Modern Concrete set up a portable batch plant at the Speedway. Using 3-D equipment for grading and screeding, Fessler & Bowman completed pours averaging 45,000 square feet—working through peak summer and rainy conditions during the active racing season and maintaining the unique schedule that required 7-day breaks to enure track access for weekend racing. We’re proud of our work, and our team’s commitment to building lasting relationships with our partners, Owosso Speedway, Spence Brothers, Modern Concrete, and Hoppe Design. Things are moving along in Tennessee. Proud of our team for?delivering a high quality product, rain or shine!

23 January until last friday our site for Inpro. 6000 cubic yards of unsuitable soils. Over 14,000 cubic yards of imported dirt. Construction entraces in, sediment basin built, building pad finished, roads and parking lots roughed in. All major grading complete. Started storm drain last week. Not a bad start to the year, a little over 3 weeks including some bad weather. ???????? Fessler & Bowman

It’s bittersweet to celebrate Fessler & Bowman Operator John Louks' 15 Year Anniversary with the company...on the same day as his retirement. We are truly grateful for his contributions to our success, and for his decades of leadership and service to our industry as an Operating Engineer with INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL 324.
