I am excited to share the first annual report from USAID on Women in the Sustainable Economy (WISE), an initiative lead by the United States Vice President Kamala Harris. The report highlighted our Climate Pledge Fund's $50MM Female Founder Initiative (FFI), as well as the Climate Gender Equity Fund (CGEF) led by Tina Sciabica, and thanks to the master minds of Kara H. Hurst and Matt Peterson and our whole CPF team – it's truly a team effort. The report also spotlighted two exceptional female founders – Rebecca Hu from Glacier which uses AI-powered robots to automate the sorting of recyclables and collect real-time data on recycling streams, and Luna Yu from Genecis Bioindustries Inc. which uses organic waste to create a biodegradable bioplastic to replace conventional plastic packaging. Through the journey, I am humbled with so many trailblazers in supporting our female founders to achieve the next level, gratitudes go to Ann Bordetsky from New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Rajesh Swaminathan from Khosla Ventures, Kris V. from Ferocity Capital, Abe Murray from AlleyCorp, Dawn Lippert Elemental Impact, Vijay Chattha from VSC Ventures and many many more! I’d also like to share my colleague Nick Ellis’ brilliant take-aways of the report: "1) Equity ??♀?. We know the stats: 1) female founders raise only ~2% of venture capital, 2) women earn <$0.81 for every dollar earned by men, and 3) women are increasingly the primary earners in American households. If we want to make progress, we need to right the economic wrongs holding back our society and promote well-paying, quality jobs for women and minorities. 2) Environment ??. The report states that "Eliminating barriers to women’s full economic participation is essential to making economic and environmental progress." Without everyone participating and innovating, we will never meet the challenges of climate change. Rebecca and Luna are testament to that fact, and a good reminder we need to empower women early, often, and at scale. 3) Education ????. The most important piece of the puzzle. Let's work backward from our kids –?who will lead us forward – and recognize that education is essential to eliminate barriers to full economic participation. We need to train the next generation of environmental entrepreneurs today if we are to address climate change." We just rolled out a series of exciting upgrades to www.MyNinja.ai : 1: Unlimited Tiers: we have optimized the whole product and our inference infra so we can give away unlimited usage of our SuperGPT features (powered by our fine-tuned agentic Llama 3.1 405B - it's pretty awesome). 2: Agentic SuperGPT file analysis: Pro users can now upload files up to ~150k words (200k tokens) and Ultra users can go up to ~750k words (1M tokens). The underlying system automagically leverages our own model or other AI models to get the job done. We're going to make this faster and better next week (we'll enable multi-file upload).
