K9 Veterans Day Today, we recognize the courageous K9s who have faithfully served alongside law enforcement and military personnel. While the Ferndale Police Department does not have a K9 unit, we are incredibly grateful for the dedication of these four-legged heroes and the vital role they play in keeping communities safe. We also want to extend our appreciation to the surrounding law enforcement agencies whose K9 units assist and support our community. Your service does not go unnoticed, and we are thankful for your partnership.

Santa Spotted Flying Over Downtown Ferndale! Ferndale PD is watching the skies tonight as a certain sleigh is flying a bit too low and fast over Downtown. After a quick chat with the pilot, who introduces himself as "Santa", he assures us it’s all part of his holiday delivery route. No citations are issued, but we’ve reminded him to watch his altitude and speed to keep our airspace safe. From all of us at Ferndale PD, we wish everyone celebrating a joyful and safe Christmas Eve
