Shoutout to Brenden on his 4th year with us on the Fenworks team! We are so thankful for you Brendan and all of the expertise and knowledge you share with the team! Brenden is our Production Director and is a master behind the camera ?? He is our well of knowledge when it comes to most computer programs. Brenden isnt just a huge part of the office but he is the man that our North Dakota schools rely on for support and direction. It's a HUGE day in the Fenworks office—we’ve got three work anniversaries to celebrate! ?? First up, Jayson is hitting his one-year mark, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on our team! As our Director of Operations, Jayson plays a huuuge part in our esports seasons, making sure everything runs smoothly and on time for our students and team. Jayson works tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience for our students, bringing passion, dedication, and a true team-player mentality to everything he does. It has been quite a few weeks but finally have some time to discuss what we have been and are doing at SCSU Esports. March 1st and 2nd we hosted the MNVL state finals for high school and middle school in our esports arena and ballroom. We had 700 attendees on campus and were able to crown state champions with some great storylines from previous years. I want to thank Minnesota Varsity League (MNVL) for letting us host and for using some photos. It was really the best put together high school event I have ever been a part of. We also ran Northstar III on March 8th and 9th which is our regional event for many different titles but the main event was SSBU and Melee. We had 212 participants at that event and we were able to host the "Sweet vs Sour" melee crew battle which gave an opportunity for female only melee crew battles to shine. Very happy with how both of these events turned out and hoping to make them even better next year. Best is yet to come!

That's a wrap! Our 24-25 Minnesota esports regular season concludes with our MN #esports state tournament that took place the weekend before last. We want to celebrate all of our competitors that played through the season and were able to battle it out for the state championship title at state. Our state tournaments are the highlight of our year—there’s nothing better than seeing competitors give it their all, share unforgettable moments with friends, and celebrate a weekend of gaming and camaraderie.
