Very grateful to bldr space for hosting me to talk about building scalable businesses. I've learned so much over the past 8 years at talabat and Uber, and that knowledge has been invaluable as we build MENADevs. Loved the intimate setting, and really enjoyed having unfiltered discussions about the opportunities and challenges of building in this region.

Top three lessons (out of 15) we loved from our talk with Hala S. 1. Look at your numbers long enough to notice the anomalies/patterns that require your focus and optimise your operations. 2. Never take your assumptions for facts. Always experiment and challenge your existing business model. 3. As businesses, you need to understand market dynamics and explore opportunities as they come.
