?? Must-read! Artificial intelligence is shaping the future, but it’s not without flaws. Bias in AI is real, reflecting and amplifying systemic inequalities. At our inaugural Women in AI Summit she shared a powerful reminder:?“If you have a face, you have a place in the conversation about AI!”?Her message is clear—AI affects us all, and we have the right to demand better. Want to know how she challenged the tech world and made algorithmic bias a global issue? Pick up the newly released paperback edition of her national bestseller,?#UnmaskingAI,?available now at?www.unmasking.ai. Women are driving critical change in #AI, and this is just the beginning. Meet one fab fifth grader. Eniola Shokunbi collaborated with classmates and scientists from the University of Connecticut to develop an air filtering system that eliminates 99% of airborne viruses like the cold and COVID-19. The Environmental Protection Agency tested the innovation, validated its efficacy, and shortly after, Connecticut’s State Bond Commission granted $11.5 million to install the units in schools statewide. Amazing work to keep students safe and healthy!

At the Women in AI Summit, hosted by The Female Quotient and ATTN:, we gathered a dynamic lineup of leaders to ignite a bold vision: a future where women don’t just participate in AI—they lead its transformation. AI holds the power to redefine industries, amplify creativity, and expand human potential. But unlocking its full promise requires diverse voices at the helm, driving innovation and ensuring responsible progress. The speakers at the summit embodied this vision, showing us what’s possible when women lead with expertise, collaboration, and purpose. This is our moment to shape the future—to elevate women’s leadership in AI, foster inclusion, and ensure that technology reflects the diversity of the world it serves. Together, we’re not just imagining what’s next; we’re building it. Could this be an example of how equality benefits everyone? Dads are spending much more time with their children than previous generations. But why? It could point to a number of positive changes like more women (and moms!) in the workforce, a shift in sharing family responsibilities between men and women, and a flexible work-life balance that benefits families as a whole. Present dads are powerful drivers of their children’s success, social skills, and mental health, so this is a win for everyone! Well done, millennial dads.

ICYMI, our first-ever FQ Newsletter dropped and like we often do, we hit the streets. To spread a little light and kindness. To get the word out about the latest tool for our community with insights, convos, and advice to help drive progress forward. And to give a few women their flowers—by @theflowerbx, a woman-founded floral company. We took our first edition, wrapped it around some beautiful blooms, and brightened some New Yorkers’ days. While each newsletter might not arrive in quite the same way, (we wish!) we hope it has that same effect week after week. Pass it on and be sure to give someone their flowers today ???? Inspired by all of the women who came before us. Designed for the 5 million strong in our pack. It’s the advice we wish we would have had. And we can’t wait to pass it on. Don’t miss a single beat; link in bio to sign up!

Laverne Cox may have been the first openly transgender person to be nominated for an acting Emmy, but she and Nava Mau, in a touching moment, acknowledge and celebrate that fact she certainly isn’t the last! #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance
