Imagine this: Ariana Grande’s grandma was a teenager when The Wizard of Oz premiered in 1939. Almost a century later, her granddaughter is starring in Wicked. Full-circle magic ? ?? @dappersteve via X #Wicked #WickedMovie

What’s more dangerous? Fighting fires or giving birth? Being a police officer or giving birth? Building cities or giving birth? Answer: giving birth is more dangerous than nearly every job in the U.S. and it’s 3X more dangerous for Black women. This level of risk alone should be enough to convince anyone that giving birth should be voluntary. It should be enough to understand women who say they’d rather not have children. It should be enough to increase funding for women’s healthcare. It should be enough to motivate healthcare providers to take extra precautions to ensure Black women and babies remain healthy and safe. The stats are there. It's time for everyone else to catch up. ?? @thenickpowersguy / TikTok

Two women who worked together and formed the most beautiful, real friendship in the process: it happens a lot and we love to point it out because those bonds are just so special. In their speech at the Elle Women of Hollywood event, co-stars and Oscar winners Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton gave us a glimpse into what it was like on the set of “The Room Next Door” for them: “Between takes, we talked about our jobs, and men, and children, and told each other, ‘No, you’re not crazy.” Relatable. Real. Inspiring. Keep lifting each other up! When one of us rises, we all rise. #womensupportingwomen
