Last September I saw thousands of New Yorkers queue for over six hours to visit?Parke's Soho pop-up store. Since then, I’ve wanted the brand’s founder?Chelsea Kramer to come on the show. She’s 27 years old and over the past two years has bootstrapped her fashion brand to $16 million in annual revenue without spending a dollar on paid ads. This year that number will double. Today on Female Founder World: I flew to Miami and asked Chelsea to tell?us?exactly?how?she made this happen. Links are in the comments or watch/listen on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts.

Honestly the most inspiring part of Allison Ellsworth selling poppi for nearly $2 billion this week is that she had three babies while building the business. Don't know about you, but I really needed to see a story like that today. Female Founder World

Confirmed: PepsiCo acquires Poppi for $1.95 billion! Allison Ellsworth started Poppi in her kitchen, selling her prebiotic soda at the farmers market. Less than 10 years later, the business has been acquired by PepsiCo for nearly $2 billion. Both brands confirmed the news this morning ET. This has to be one of the most inspiring founder stories we have ever covered.

Julia O'Mara made 4,000 trips on the subway delivering clothes across NYC when her app launched. She's the co-founder and COO of Pickle, an app that’s AirBnb for your closet, allowing you to rent out and borrow from peers. Julia and her cofounder met while working in investment management and were drawn to the idea of understanding purchasing decisions. They raised $250,000 from friends and family to start an app that was totally different to the Pickle we know today. The original idea didn't work and ran out of money. But Julia and her team?identified the peer-to-peer clothing rental idea and, with no cash left, built a new app themselves. A little over a year later, they raised $8M for Pickle 2.0 and since then have been seeing 80% organic growth.
