The reason we have to commemorate #BlackWomensEqualPayDay is because “The Math Ain’t Mathing.” Black Women make 69 cents for every dollar paid to white men. Black women deserve to be hired, paid, trained, promoted, granted contracts, and approved for business loans fairly. When Black women are paid less than their white counterparts, it impacts their finances today & financial futures.
