When in Lincoln… dress like Lincoln!?We went all in at the ACEC-NE Good Life Bingo event, rocking top hats and beards for a night of fun, laughter, and great company. But beyond the bingo cards and costumes, we were proud to support scholarships that help shape the next generation of engineers. A huge thank you to?ACEC Nebraska?for a wonderful evening in Lincoln, NE.

Last, but not least for #EWeek2025, give applause for these youngsters who were voted most likely to be "Best Bridge Builder" and "To Get You Home Faster!" Alivia Plankis, PE and David Andersen keep us safe and sane during our commute. Alivia loves that “every project is a different puzzle to solve," and David is glad to "reduce stress and frustration." Both are proud to see the immediate impact their work has on the community. We barely touched the surface this week. THANK YOU to all engineers here at FHU, at the local agencies we serve and at the firms we partner with! Here’s to #Eweek2025?? ?#EngineersWeek #Engineering #EWeek #CelebratingEngineers

From the twinkle in her eye as a young lady, it's clear Michelle Stevens PE, MBA would grow up to be the FHU "Master of Roundabouts." She's mastered the art of keeping traffic flowing, saying, “I’ve come to see roundabouts as a great solution for our communities because they improve traffic flow and safety by reducing conflicts, and are a great opportunity to showcase community values and culture through landscaping and art.” Michelle’s expertise ensures safer roads for all. We'll end the week with multiple awards tomorrow - stay tuned! Tag an engineer who deserves a shoutout!??? ?#EngineersWeek #Engineering #EWeek #CelebratingEngineers

FHU #EWeek2025 superlatives continue with someone who makes a quiet impact, Stephanie Anzia, most likely to be a "Quiet Zone Champion". Despite the title, we're shouting out loud about Stephanie's dedication to improving safety and creating better, more livable communities. “It is deeply satisfying to engineer safety improvements at highway-rail crossings. Elevating safety to a level where routine sounding of train horns is not needed, serves crossing users and enhances quality of life for surrounding neighborhoods.” Find out tomorrow who the FHU "Master of Roundabouts" is... #EngineersWeek #Engineering #EWeek #CelebratingEngineers

This #Eweek2025, we’re celebrating the brains, creativity, and quirks that make our team amazing with Yearbook-Style Superlatives! Join us all week as we recognize the exceptional people behind our projects and the impact they make every day. Jennifer Thompson is most likely to fall asleep reading the Green Book. Jennifer shared that "the best parts of being an engineer is delivering roadway projects that positively impact people's daily lives and working alongside other excellent engineers who share that passion." ? Stay tuned for "most likely to go with the flow"? ? Who’s your favorite engineer? Tag them & give them a shoutout! ?? #EngineersWeek #Engineering #EWeek #CelebratingEngineers
