Cybersecurity, Construction Growth & Industry Updates: What You Need to Know Nearly 60% of CEOs now have an up-to-date cybersecurity strategy (an improvement from 38% in 2017). But with 42% of businesses still at high risk, it’s a reminder that cyber threats are real and ongoing. If you don’t have a plan, now is the time to put one in place. In other industry news: - Construction job openings rose to 236,000 in January (31,000 more than in December). - Contractors remain optimistic, with confidence metrics staying above key thresholds. - Legislation & tariffs: The House passed a resolution to fund the government for FY2025, and 25% steel and aluminum tariffs are now in effect.
