Lizbeth and her 10 month old daughter live in #Peru. They are currently living in a small house built near a friend's home. It is a temporary arrangement that helped get her and her children out of a very dangerous area. She works long hours — with her youngest daughter strapped to her back — selling food and drinks on the street in front of a local school. The MannaPack? meals she received will help make ends meet and keep her family healthy. Lizbeth was touched by this support — provided by donors and volunteers like YOU. FMSC recently held our first ever MobilePack? event at a senior living facility! Stations were set up so that every position could be done while sitting down, which helped make the entire packing experience accessible to the group. We even had one volunteer — Mary, pictured in red — scooping rice at 101 years old. ?? Go, Mary! Kristen on our MobilePack team shared some thoughts about this event: "There was truly something special that happened over the two days of this event ... it was such a unique and fun experience.?I was able to sit down with three [volunteers] and talk for a while ... they were so encouraged to be able to do something meaningful and purposeful with their time. So many of the seniors, if they don't have family to take them outside of the walls, stay at the facility all the time. So it was truly an honor to bring something meaningful to their community. This pack will forever hold a special?place in my heart." #feedingkids #volunteer
