??ACTION ALERT: The Feeding Texas network is asking the #txlege to implement Summer EBT to keep Texas children fed over the summer. Hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation. Oftentimes, it can mean up to 90 days for many Texas kids to go without consistent, reliable school meals. Summer EBT is a new USDA program that gives low-income families with school-aged children benefits during the summer to keep their nutrition going during the break.
