2024 has been a remarkable year of growth and impact for Installed Building Products corporate giving. I had the pleasure of interviewing the incredible Ashley Kanney from Feed the Kids Columbus. Ashley's journey from supporting 97 children to nearly 9,000 is nothing short of inspiring.?Her dedication to tackling childhood hunger and the power of trust-based philanthropy are highlighted in our conversation. Last month we were thrilled to learn that Feed the Kids Columbus was chosen as a recipient of the Franklin County Board of Commissioners Community Partnerships grants aimed to support families in Franklin County who need assistance. We are thrilled to be included with so many other worthy organizations serving Franklin County and is a testament to the gaps that we are filling in our community to help our 8,500 students in our 30 partner schools get food over extended school breaks and snacks throughout the school day to help fill their bellies so that they can focus and learn. Yesterday was a historic day for Feed the Kids Columbus! Thanks to the generosity of the Crawford Hoying Foundation and anonymous donor, Feed the Kids Columbus was able to offer a 100% match for all contributions made up to $15,000... and we did it! More than $15,000 was donated yesterday to Feed the Kids Columbus to support the 8,500 children in Franklin County that we serve through our 30 partner schools and every single dollar will be matched. We cannot express our sincere thanks enough to the Crawford Hoying Foundation, our donors and all who contributed yesterday.
