FedTech was thrilled to host the visit of a delegation yesterday of #defense technology companies from #Czechia who were accompanying Czech President Petr Pavel on his visit to the United States. We briefed the delegation on the United States Department of Defense's organization, budget, and technology priorities; best practices for international #dualuse tech startups seeking to partner with the DoD; and we identified some the best DoD partners and programs that international companies can collaborate with including the DoD Under Secretary for Research & Engineering's Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) program and the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). Thanks Manuel “Manny” Medrano for joining us to brief about FCT, and thanks to Jan Hladík Doubravka Hronová and Nicole Komárková for arranging the visit. It was also a great privilege to join the Czech business delegation and other distinguished guests at a reception in their honor hosted by Czech Ambassador Miloslav Stanek at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic's Embassy in Washington DC.
