It’s a hole in one for Federated Lighting and Capital Electric at the 2nd Annual IEC Chesapeake Virginia Golf Tournament.

This week's VMI Club of Richmond sponsor highlight is Federated Lighting of Virginia. Federated Lighting Virginia’s recent involvement in the innovative Cosmic Baseball?project was integral to making this incredible event possible, working with SONARAY? to furnish cutting-edge black lighting for the world’s first Cosmic Baseball?game at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights, Virginia for the Tri-City Chili Peppers. Federated Lighting Virginia was brought into the project by Capital Electric Supply and teamed up with SONARAY to develop black lights powerful enough to illuminate the entire stadium. SONARAY’s engineers faced the challenge head-on, working over a year to create a lighting system that would allow the game to be played under black lights. The Tri-City Chili Peppers have hosted 4 Cosmic Baseball games over the Summer. The work on this innovative lighting solution?gained attention from ESPN, CBS Sports, and Sports Illustrated.
