?? We’re thrilled to share that the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has awarded over $84 million in CRISI Grant Program funding to our valued partners, supporting key projects that will drive critical advancements in #railwaysafety, #sustainability, and #workforcedevelopment at the Transportation Technology Center. Together with our partners, we’re excited to support these transformative initiatives: ? East Erie Commercial Railroad: Advancing #hydrogen adoption technologies in rail. ? University of Delaware: Building a hands-on training hub for the next generation railroad workforce at TTC’s High Tonnage Loop. ? Colorado State University Pueblo: Enhancing safety and #training in hydrogen/natural gas motive power. ? Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen :Developing next-gen PTC-integrated smart technologies for derailment prevention. These projects, benefitting from TTC’s state-of-the-art facilities and test tracks, will help shape the future of rail – from #cleanenergy adoption to preparing the next generation of rail professionals. We’re grateful to the FRA and our dedicated partners for this opportunity to contribute to these forward-thinking initiatives. Learn how we’re helping Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) reduce toxic pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions—and reduce impacts on railyard workers and neighboring communities through the Locomotive Emissions Comparison Tool. The tool also helps stakeholders with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and helps FRA align with Executive Order 14057 to decarbonize and “green” its facilities and operations. It aligns closely with the White House’s Justice40 initiative to reduce disproportional environmental impacts. Thanks to our team led by Anjuliee Mittelman, Matthew Simon, PhD, and William Chupp. Learn more: is.gd/d4sHfv
