In honor of #HispanicHeritageMonth, we’re proud to recognize two of our Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant recipients who are creating equitable access to affordable housing in #Latinx communities. Recently we awarded a $1.4 million AHP grant to TNDC through our member Century Housing. In partnership with Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA), this project brings 143 affordable homes to San Francisco’s Mission District, alongside critical services like childcare and arts spaces to support families and the community. This year we also awarded a $2 million grant to #MEDA through our member Bank of San Francisco to construct 31 affordable homes for #educators earning 80% of area median income (AMI). This project also provides a childcare space, homeownership coaching and financial support to ensure long-term success for first-time #homebuyers. Grants like these transform lives by providing the security of a home and access to financial education and community services, supporting long-term stability and growth. We are committed to advancing opportunities for diverse communities, ensuring everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home. ??Courtesy of Bruce Damonte #FHLBankSF #AffordableHousing #LatinxCommunity #HispanicHeritageMonth #AHPgrants

As we continue to honor #HispanicHeritageMonth, we want to recognize the diverse leadership that guides our mission. We stand out among financial institutions for our commitment to representation at the highest levels, especially representing the Hispanic and Latinx communities we serve, with F. Daniel Siciliano serving as Chair of the Board, and Ana Fonseca and David Adame as key board members. Our board’s #diversity includes the collective expertise and dedication each of our leaders brings to fostering equitable economic opportunities in our communities, which is carried out by our President and CEO Alanna McCargo. We are honored to be recognized by the NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) and Latino Leaders Magazine (2023) for our continued commitment to diverse leadership—essential to building a more resilient and inclusive future for all. #Leadership #LatinxLeaders #FHLBankSF #InclusiveLeadership #HispanicHeritageMonth
