If you are a federal employee located in these areas, follow this account for information related to recruitment, training, and leadership networking events, as well as emergency preparedness. Federal Executive Boards are located in areas that are major centers of federal activity. FEBs convene local Federal executives and managers to facilitate interagency collaboration towards shared goals. Federal Partners: Most of the Western Region FEBs send out weekly summaries, updates, events that have a potential to impact your employees, etc. Are you getting them? Our lists include training and employee development, Emergency Management, Shared Neutrals/ ADR, Public Affairs, and Human Resources. The Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Human Exploitation Rescue Operation (HERO) Child Rescue Corps is a paid federal internship that is open to disabled Veterans and disabled active duty service members who are transitioning out of the service due to wounds, illness, or injury. (VA/DoD Disability rating) The program mission is to combat the growing problem of child exploitation by recruiting, training, and equipping wounded, ill, or injured veterans to become computer forensic analysts (CFAs). Although positions are not guaranteed, our goal at the end of the internship is to hire successful interns as full-time CFAs to assist Special Agents in the rescue of child sexual victims, the prosecution of sexual predators, and the prevention of child sexual abuse.
