Thanks Justin Gallo! It was an honor for FEA to be included. I hope to join you again in the future to continue to share knowledge. Thanks for hosting such a great event.
As we enter November, a season for reflection and gratitude, I'm especially grateful for the chance to come together to share knowledge and resources. A huge thank you to Maureen Roskoski, Darin Rose IFMA Fellow, CFM, SFP, GGP, CRFP, Matt Heath, Josh McIlwain, Dallas Blaney, Ph.D., and Lisa VanderHeyden for presenting at our recent Nonprofit Facilities Management Lunch & Learn! We had a fantastic turnout of about 30 Daniels Fund grantee partners who own and operate their spaces, each dedicated to improving their facilities for the communities they serve. Events like this bring to mind these words from Bill Daniels: "Be the kind of person who takes time to pass on knowledge and values to the next generation. Live your life in such a way that family, friends, and business associates remember you as an honest person. I believe that if you live your life this way, you’ll leave this world with a clear conscience and a smile on your face". Thank you all for helping us carry forward that spirit! #gratitude #nonprofit #facilitiesmanagement IFMA Denver Chapter IFMA

FEA has been involved in program support for the FBPTA for over a decade. This is a great opportunity to comment on the competency model and help us make this great program even better! FEA
Did you know that the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act Competency Model (FBPTA) recently added some new updates? These updates include additional competencies that reflect the increasing importance of ventilation, in addition to a new qualification review process and new training reviews. We are seeking feedback on these updates to ensure the framework is comprehensive and reflects the needs of all stakeholders. Your feedback is essential to the success of the FBPTA program! The Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act of 2010 requires that all federal personnel providing building operations and maintenance services demonstrate competencies necessary to effectively operate government facilities.? The act required the creation and periodic update of competencies, recommended curriculum and continuing education for federal building personnel. The public comment period for the update of the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act Competency Model is open now through November 24, 2024. To review more of the updates and leave your comments, please visit https://bit.ly/3Z28knH

Ryan Small, FMVA, FMP brings a fresh perspective on how AI can enhance facility managers' communication, time management, and decision-making.
