Fair Chance Works prepares and transitions clients from addiction recovery centers and detention centers back into our workforce as productive members of society; but with the practical education they need to succeed.
We recognize that obtaining gainful employment is a key component of recovery and/or re-entry into society and that placing fair and second chance workers represents a steep challenge for the facilities that we work with. These clients often lack the self-confidence needed to obtain gainful employment due to factors which can include poor soft-skills, no work experience, low levels of education attainment, or a lack of working with others.
Our systemic approach helps clients take better ownership of their recovery, lets them progress at their own pace, and supports their professional growth throughout the recovery process. On one end we offer soft skills, communication skills, and life skills training services to SUD clients and the incarcerated. On the other, we are developing a network of second and fair chance work opportunities and providing businesses with a larger, often more reliable labor pool.
Our unique approach to training allows us to reforge how our clients see themselves, their future, and their place in society in a more vibrant light.
