The halfway point in our fiscal year serves as a time of reflection and push to the finish line. To celebrate the achievements of top-performing individuals thus far, Flight Centre Travel Group puts on a prestigious event called the "President's Club," where FCM Meetings & Events (part of our Group Travel & Incentive service) organizes every piece. We send top employees who fall under any and all FCTG brands to experience a unique destination, which changes each year. This year, the event was held in the vibrant city of Cartagena, Colombia ??.?Winner categories include top account executives, consultants, and outstanding achievers. To give you some insight into the behind-the-scenes efforts that make this possible, FCM M&E began destination selection in March 2024. Since then, our team has been diligently working behind the scenes to ensure every aspect of the event is seamless for the event dates of January 8-9, 2025. Here’s a snapshot of what we handled: - Full event management + event travel program? - Creation and management of a registration website? - Development of a mobile app for the event - Agent Assist flight ticketing - Comprehensive hotel management - Coordination with three different suppliers and venues - Vendor management - Detailed logistics handling, including transfers, hotel extensions, offsite activities, venue selection and coordination, menus, décor, branding, and creative elements But it's more than just ticking boxes.
