Today, we spotlight Food Systems Transformation Solutions (FSTS), a key player in developing sustainable domestic and regional food system value chain solutions. ?? FSTS provides strategy, advisory, and management support to governments, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and private sector firms (PTFs), while also designing and implementing innovative, green, and blended finance solutions to strengthen food systems. ?? As the leader of Work Package 2 (WP2), FSTS is advancing fair trade and health for a sustainable society through NTM (Non-Tariff Measure) harmonisation and innovations. ?? FSTS also leads Use Case #3, which focuses on enhancing rural communities’ resilience against shocks, ensuring fairer and more sustainable food systems. ?? ?? Welcome to the "???????? ?????? ???????????????????? ????????????????????" series! ?? Today, the spotlight is on the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). IITA plays a central and multifaceted role in the FCI4Africa project. As the project coordinator, IITA oversees overall management, coordination, and intellectual property rights through its leadership of Work Package 7 (WP7). Additionally, IITA leads Work Package 5 (WP5), which focuses on co-creating and demonstrating climate-neutral, just, and fair food system solutions integrated with national food quality and safety systems. IITA is also the leader of Use Case #1, aimed at improving the fair flow and traceability of aflatoxin-safe products in Burkina Faso, Nigeria, and Kenya. ??
