Huge shoutout to our amazing superintendent, Jason Hierholzer, who spent the day bringing "Green Eggs and Ham" to life for the kindergarteners at Shipshewana-Scott Elementary! ???? He not only read the book but also whipped up some actual Green Eggs and Ham for the kiddos to try. While they were a little hesitant at first, it turned out to be a hit! Thanks to Westview School Corporation for letting us join in on the fun and helping create memories with Dr. Seuss. We are thrilled to kick off Phase I of the Memorial Park Improvement Project right here in our hometown of Auburn! As a local company, we are proud to partner with MartinRiley architects?engineers and invest in our own community. This phase will bring nearly one mile of 10-foot pathways, ADA-compliant restrooms with an attached shelter, fitness nodes along the trail, new drinking fountains and sanitization stations, and a community meeting node with performance space. Plus, we’re adding multiple shade structures, rehabilitating the basketball court, and creating a new pickleball facility and baseball diamond! FCI Construction wrapped up another exciting Olympics, with five teams competing in seven different events. Big congratulations to the Orange Team for taking home the win! Our events included a typing challenge, PPE egg race, trowel and buggy courses, scaffold building, grout relay, and nail driving—bringing both our office and field teams together for some friendly competition. This event is always a great opportunity to share some laughs, take a break from the daily grind, and truly appreciate the hard work that each of our team members puts in. Project Update FCI is proud to be the Construction Manager for an addition and renovation at Parkview LaGrange Hospital. This project will bring a complete upgrade to the mechanical systems, including new chillers, boilers, and adjacent equipment. These enhancements will ensure that the hospital continues to provide the exceptional care it's known for, well into the future.
