Laura Diemer, CLM and Forrest Bell are at the North American Lake Management Society conference this week at Lake Tahoe in NV, at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. Laura delivered an exceptional presentation on alum treatments as an effective lake management solution to combat persistent cyanobacteria blooms, an increasingly common issue, especially in New England. What a great experience to connect with lake managers from across the country, not to mention a stunningly beautiful scene for it! ??? #NALMs #lakemanagement #conference

?? PLAN OF THE YEAR!! ?? We are elated to announce that FBE, in partnership with Mohr & Seredin Landscape Architects, has won Northern New England Planning's Plan of the Year Award! The Peaks Island Environmental, Cultural, and Issues Assessment evaluates the island's natural resources, infrastructure, and land use, while also providing a climate vulnerability analysis to guide sustainable planning and policy development. Our favorite part of working with any community is, hands down, the people. We’ve had the pleasure of connecting with so many brilliant local residents and leaders throughout the development of this plan, and we’re excited to see them use the findings to protect Peaks Island for generations to come.
