The Fax's work to create more affordable housing along East Colfax is just getting started! Thank you Colorado Access Foundation for a multi-year grant to create and preserve affordable housing ahead of the BRT.
As someone who strives to understand multiple perspectives, I can understand why foundations seem to prefer one-year grants to multi-year ones. However, to accomplish complex problems having stable funding is essential. That's why I am so pleased to share that The Fax received a three-year grant from the Colorado Access Foundation. CAF: Thank you for putting your trust in The Fax to create more affordable housing along East Colfax AND for stepping up to address your medicaid members' need for a stable place to live...for without stable housing one cannot live a healthy life. Muchisimas gracias!

The Fax East Colfax Cultural District event is a wrap!
The Fax's most recent community event - East Colfax Cultural District Field Day - was a total success! It was at the beautiful Mosaic Campus, happy times were had. Happy times that were mostly subsidized by ARPA (also CO Health Foundation and DOTI TY!) - upon reflection ARPA has been instrumental in The Fax's recent successes: our purchase of two East Colfax motels, vaccine clinics, health fairs, business safety upgrades community events. That's the ARPA-footprint for just one nonprofit, in one city, in one state, among 50!
