One of the first lessons I learned as a video producer is that my content is useless if the right people don’t see it. So that encouraged me to dive into marketing research and figure out exactly how I could get the right eyes on my videos. For myself, and the businesses I worked for. Lighting Hack for DIY Content Creation?? If your videos don’t look as good as you want them to, it’s most likely due to poor lighting. I’ve seen so many people invest in expensive camera equipment only to continue producing dark, grainy content. And that’s because they overlooked the most important part of content creation — lighting. The good news is, we all have access to the most powerful light in our solar system ?? The sun can act as an amazing light for our videos, but there are a couple things to keep in mind. 1.) The angle of the light determines the mood of your shot. 2.) Don’t shoot with the Sun behind you unless you have a light powerful enough to compete with it. The first half of this video was shot using only my iPhone and the sunlight. Then I add in one of my professional lights to show how the two can be paired together.
