What a DAY!! Fate Therapeutics Inc. was honored to host Lupus Foundation of America, Inc.’s #lupus patient ambassadors, who blew us away as they shared personal experiences about a day in the life of a person with systemic lupus (#SLE), challenges in their disease course, and hope for the future of SLE treatments. Many scientists spend years in a lab working on drug development, never getting to see the person whose life may change thanks to them. Most patients never see those scientists. To see these paths cross at Fate headquarters was touching, inspiring, and beautiful. Thank you to everyone involved, including our #LupusWarriors. Cheers to #science and #medicine!
