Thank you Los Angeles Business Journal for putting on such a great event, recognizing all of the amazing work of non-profits in the Los Angeles area. We were honored to be named a nominee in the emerging category for their 2025?Nonprofit?& Corporate Citizenship Awards. We also had a great time networking and meeting other non-profits and were particularly proud to see one of our 2024 grantees, Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena, named as a finalist. February was a month of supporting local youth in Oakland, CA, Covina, CA and Canton, GA. Girls Leadership, Music Will, and Cherokee Youth Foundation, we are so pleased to support your education, sports and music initiatives.

2024 was a record-breaking year for the FAT Brands Foundation! In one year, we increased our giving by 36 percent, awarding $325,000 in grants. We provided 27 more grants for a total of 70 grants, an increase of 59 percent from 2023. Our significant growth and impact would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our board, Jessica Wiederhorn, MBA, Tuanya Reid, Gina Soto, SHRM-CP, Jenn Johnston, Tisha Bartlett, Erin Mandzik, Mark Avery, our committee members, FAT Brands Inc., our franchisees, supplier partners, donors and local communities. In honor of National Women's History Month, we wanted to spotlight inspirational, women-centric organizations and initiatives we supported in 2024. We are proud to support your work that continues to lift up girls and women across the U.S.: Stiletto Boss University, The Giving Spirit, The S.H.A.U.N. Foundation, Cancer Cartel and Providence Tarzana Foundation.

We are pleased to support organizations like Scottsdale Arts that are committed to providing unique ways for youth to learn! Through our work with the non-profit, we were able to help support over 200 students learn math through music and movement. We continue to look for ways to give back to those impacted by the devastating LA wildfires. Yesterday, foundation board members and FAT Brands Inc. employees volunteered at a Los Angeles donation site to help assist families and individuals find clothes and supplies to begin to rebuild their lives. The last few weeks have been incredibly challenging for the Los Angeles area. Our hearts are with all of those who have been impacted. As a foundation, we are committed to supporting non-profits in the area to help the community recover from this tragedy. Recently, we supported the The Dream Center Foundation to help them in providing emergency shelter, meals, clothing, and specialized crisis services to wildfire victims, first responders, and their families. The board also continues to support FAT Brands Inc.'s brand level giving back initiatives in Los Angeles, including Fatburger, Hot Dog on a Stick and Round Table Pizza. 2024 was quite a year! We closed the year awarding a total of 70 grants, nearly 30 more than 2023. Congratulations to our December 2023 grant recipients, Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena, Cancer Cartel, Hollywood PAL, GUITARS ANTIQUA MUSIC PROGRAM, UNITED IN HARMONY and Vision To Learn. Also, thank you to our President Jessica Wiederhorn, MBA for guiding the foundation to greater success this year and to our board members, Jenn Johnston, Tuanya Reid, Gina Soto, SHRM-CP, Tisha Bartlett, Mark Avery and Erin Mandzik for their commitment and dedication to driving forward the mission of the foundation.
