    Building a successful D2C strategy in mobile gaming requires more than just setting up a web shop. You need to actively drive traffic to it, and that can be challenging given the restrictions on in-app promotion. One thing you absolutely cannot do is directly tell players within your game to visit your web shop. This is a major no-no on both major platforms, and violating this rule can result in hefty fees or even removal from the app store. So, how do you get players to your web shop? Leverage your social channels. Your social media platforms and community channels, such as Twitter, Discord, and Facebook, are powerful tools for reaching your existing players. Use these channels to: ?? Announce your web shop launch. ?? Highlight exclusive deals and offers. ?? Run contests and giveaways. ?? Share engaging content that drives traffic. The primary goal of your D2C strategy is to convert your existing players, not necessarily acquire new ones. These are the players who are already engaged with your game and most likely to make purchases on your web shop. ?? Don't rely on in-app promotion to drive traffic to your web shop. ?? Leverage your social media and community channels to reach your existing players. ?? Focus on creating engaging content and offering compelling incentives. ?? Build a strong relationship with your players and foster a sense of community.
