Congratulations to Nehemiah Bruce on the incredible opportunity to sit alongside Speaker Johnson at ACS. We’re also grateful that one of our own Marines, Brooke Barnett—our Director of Project Management—was able to take part in such a meaningful event, engaging with Speaker Johnson, Majority Leader The Honorable Steve Scalise, and The Honorable Kevin Brady. The impact ACS continues to make in the lives of our veterans—connecting them with meaningful career opportunities—is truly remarkable. Thank you, Nicholas Morgan, for your vision and dedication in bringing this mission to life. John Glaze
This week, Adaptive Construction Solutions had the honor of hosting Speaker Mike Johnson at our 68,000 sqft #Apprenticeship Innovation Center—the largest private investment in apprenticeship infrastructure in U.S. history. It was a privilege for me to join Paul Champion and Dr. Mardy L. Leathers in welcoming Speaker Johnson, showcasing the ACS team’s unwavering commitment to expanding apprenticeship programs and supporting employers in hiring #apprentices nationwide. Our discussion highlighted the transformative potential of apprenticeship-focused legislation to address the demands of our evolving economy. A highlight of the day was Speaker Johnson’s meeting with one of our apprenticeship alumni, Nehemiah Bruce, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran now thriving at our partner Fast Track Specialties, LP. Under the leadership of owner John Glaze, who has been an invaluable supporter of ours since our early years of business, Nehemiah has excelled, recently earning his fifth promotion to Project Manager. His journey is a testament to the power of apprenticeships to unlock opportunity and build rewarding careers. We couldn’t do our work without our great employer and project owner partners. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP has played an enormous role in our effective engagement with members of both chambers. Adding to the significance of the visit, we were thrilled to welcome back former Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee and friend Kevin Brady. His continued support and interest in our progress at ACS made this a meaningful visit. We were also joined by our owner partners IP (Ik Pyo) Kim President and Joseph Kang CCO of Qcells USA Corp. and Brett White with Pine Gate Renewables whose collaboration strengthens our mission. At ACS, we’re proud to demonstrate how apprenticeships create pathways to prosperity through the dignity of work. We’re grateful for the recognition from our nation’s leaders and partners who share our vision for building a stronger, more skilled workforce. #Apprenticeship #AdaptiveConstructionSolutions #ApprenticeshipInnovationCenter #WorkforceDevelopment #NationalApprenticeshipDay2025
