Today F&B had guest speaker Brandon Blum, Co-Founder of the clothing brand For Others, based in New York City. Brandon spoke about some amazing internship opportunities within the company and gave valuable insight into the brand’s mission of giving back to the community. We want to thank Brandon Blum for taking the time to speak at F&B about his journey of co-founding For Others after graduating from Temple University. That’s a wrap! As we reflect on the 2023-2024 school year, we would like to highlight our spring NYC trip to visit the Victoria’s Secret & Co. home office! We would like to sincerely thank the fabulous Julia Ostrovsky for setting up such a wonderful itinerary for the members of the Fashion and Business Student Professional Organization! Overall, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the remarkable women of the Victoria's Secret team for graciously welcoming us into their workspace. Their hospitality and openness provide invaluable insights into their dedication, creativity, and passion for their craft. We are truly honored to have had the opportunity to experience firsthand the energy and inspiration that drive their exceptional work?? Our journey concluded with a visit to the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology to see the "Statement Sleeves" exhibit, as well as the student exhibit. Such a joyous and bittersweet moment as we hosted an end-of-the-year goodbye picnic for the Temple Fashion and Business Professional Organization yesterday afternoon, celebrating the achievements of our members and bidding farewell to our graduating seniors?? Reflecting on our growth and memories shared within our organization, we felt nothing but immense happiness seeing the bonds formed and successes achieved! We’re beyond upset to say “see you later” (it’s never goodbye) to our superstar seniors, but we’re excited to know that they will embark on new journeys beyond our organization. We are extremely proud of their accomplishments and cannot wait to see the impact they will make in the fashion and business world. Thank you so much, Serena and Bailey, for being the best President and Vice President, and congratulations to Alexa on your new position as President for the 2024-2025 school year. Wednesday, April 17th concluded our weekly general body meetings for the 2023-2024 school year. Last, but certainly not least, the lovely Aaminah Shabazz , Digital Marketing and Media Manager at Parfums Christian Dior, gave us a fantastic presentation on the insights of what her position at Dior entails, along with discussing her fascinating journey from graduating at Temple University up until present day!
