From green alleys to detention ponds and lead service line replacements, the city is pioneering sustainable solutions to protect its residents. ??♂? Stop 1: Green Alleys - These permeable surfaces reduce stormwater runoff, easing the burden on drainage systems and preventing localized flooding. ?? Stop 2: Detention Pond - A vital infrastructure piece that temporarily stores excess stormwater, protecting streets and homes during heavy rain events. ?? Stop 3: Lead Service Line Replacement - Ensuring safe, clean water for residents by replacing old lead pipes with the help of federal and state funding.
