Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom is likely set to finalize the California state budget today. Last month, we hosted Governor Newsom, many of his cabinet, and other Employment Social Enterprise (ESE) leaders from REDF, Center for Employment Opportunities, and Chrysalis to share about the success of #CARISE, a pot of funding that fuels organizations and companies like ours. We heard from our own Michael T. who shared his story of how Farming Hope worked for him. ESE's are the missing rung on the ladder of economic opportunity and we know they work for thousands of Californians. We are so grateful for Governor Newsom's support and we hope our community joins us in asking our policy makers to renew CA RISE funding!

Andie's back from maternity leave and already hitting the ground running! Check out her interview for KTVU's Giving Day! Thank you for the feature!
It's been a whirlwind returning to work full time from maternity leave. Hit the ground running with a serious case of the jitters appearing live on KTVU 2's Giving Day to talk about Farming Hope. Thankful I was able to find the words I needed to despite the mom brain. Then again it's easy to talk about the work if you love doing it!
