Wisconsin farmers are using data to better understand on-farm sustainability through multi-year projects supported by Farmers for Sustainable Food. The release of the project data, spanning four and five years, provides significant insight into the environmental impact of farming practices and demonstrates continuous improvement in sustainability and water quality across the state. Kris is our senior contract officer and will manage contracts with various collaborators, including federal, state and local governments, as well as private and non-profit organizations. Grassland knows their business begins on the farm which is why their dedicated field representatives work with patrons’ farms in a variety of ways, from improving milk quality and animal welfare to optimizing production and continuous farm development.
