Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho was founded in 1947 by Idaho farmers and ranchers who believed in the value of hard work, perseverance, and doing the right thing. Today, Farm Bureau Insurance remains committed to these values and the culture of caring they have inspired. We have also remained wholly based in Idaho and committed to protecting Idaho’s families and communities. Our long history of caring and commitment includes sponsorships, volunteerism, Idaho investments, and public service. Our slogan, “We know Idaho. We grew up here.” reflects our 70+ year-long relationship with the Gem State.

Thanks to their donations, we recently had the honor of presenting United Way of Southeastern Idaho with a check for $51,700! United Way plays a crucial role in providing support to local programs that assist families in need, and it’s important to us to be able to contribute to their efforts in this way.

  • We’re excited to announce Josh Stuart as Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance's new Vice President of Human Resources and Operations, effective January 1st. Josh first joined the company in November of 1998 as a temporary worker, assisting with boxing files. He returned to Farm Bureau in October of 2002 as a Records Coordinator in the Processing Department. After a brief role in Operations, Josh transitioned to the Claims Department in 2003 as a Claims Examiner. Over the years, he took on increasing responsibilities, eventually becoming a Multiline Field Adjuster covering Bonneville, Custer, and Butte counties. During his time in Claims, Josh earned his AIC designation and was promoted to Senior Adjuster. Josh’s ability to work closely with people proved invaluable when he transitioned to Human Resources in 2011. In HR, Josh earned his certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), an Associate in Management from the Institutes, and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in HR management. Throughout his time in HR, Josh has held a variety of roles and is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources. Please join us in congratulating Josh on his promotion!

  • Last week, we hosted our 12th annual Salute to Idaho Veterans event, honoring the service and sacrifices of veterans in our community. Highlights of the event included a flag ceremony, recognition of the "Salute to Idaho Veterans" student essay contest winners, and an inspiring speech by Vietnam War veteran and former NFL player Rocky Bleier.   • Idaho Farm Bureau Insurance agent Juston Lindsley and his wife, Shelby, make a powerful impact in their community through their support of local charitable organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities. As a recipient of our 2024 Community Champion award, Juston was able to donate $500 to the Ronald McDonald House in Boise.
