This recognition celebrates not only the exceptional wine inside the bottle but also the artistry and intention behind its design. Inspired by the ornate beauty of Belle époque book covers, this label subtly weaves together the elements of our history. A huge thank you to Denomination for their masterful design and to Darling Clementine for the stunning illustration that brings this label to life. Their work beautifully weaves together the legacy of John Benson, Martin Stelling, Beth, and Gil Nickel, whose initials are intricately intertwined into the illustration—an homage to the visionaries who shaped our estate. Thank you to the San Francisco Chronicle for this honor and to our incredible team for their dedication to excellence in every facet of winemaking.

Our recent town hall meetings were more than just gatherings—they were a vision, years in the making. Our leadership team endeavored to create an intimate personalized forum where we come together, celebrate our people, and reinforce the values that define us. This year, that vision became a reality. Yesterday, we celebrated a major milestone as our inaugural class of Emerging Leaders completed their yearlong curriculum. Today, we announce the retirement of our CEO, Steve Spadarotto, and welcome esteemed wine industry leader, Carol Reber, as our interim CEO.??Since joining the Company as CEO in 2018, Spadarotto helped to guide Far Niente through an exceptional period of financial growth and new product innovation.?In 2024 Far Niente’s wine portfolio achieved its highest-ever critical acclaim and consumer demand, including double-digit depletion growth in what was one of the most challenging years in the wine industry’s history. Carol C. Reber brings 25 years of luxury wine experience, having held key leadership roles at top brands like The Duckhorn Portfolio, where she served as EVP Chief Marketing & DTC Officer from 2010 to 2022. She has also contributed to blue chip global companies like Gallo, The Walt Disney Company, and Sony Pictures, and has been a valued member of the Far Niente Board of Directors for the past two years. Carol is recognized as one of the industry’s top executives, with a remarkable track record of growth, innovation, and building luxury wine brands. Her expertise and vision will guide us into an exciting new chapter as we continue to strengthen our unparalleled positioning in luxury wine.
