Great fan experiences are commonplace in the world of sports, but unless you happen to work in a front office or you’re incredibly wealthy, the opportunity to get truly behind the scenes of a professional sports club are few and far between. You only have to look at the recent purchases of several of Europe’s biggest clubs to know that soccer - or football, or fu?ball, whichever you prefer - is moving ever further away from its supporters. Fan Owned Club aimed to change that, giving each and every Fan Owner the chance to see and participate in the inner workings of a soccer club, by bringing the community membership model which, in some forms, is more common in Europe, and taking it over to the United States with a twist. Carrick Rangers F.C. (CRFC) and Fan Owned Club Inc. (FOC) have proudly unveiled an ambitious strategic alliance that promises to propel the Northern Irish club into the international spotlight, particularly in North America, where soccer's popularity has been soaring. CRFC, in its quest for sustained success and the future of the club for generations to come, is determined to share the magic of Irish football with the world. This momentous collaboration signifies a major milestone in the club's journey, reflecting their commitment to sustainable success and long-term growth.

All the really exciting things possible during the course of a lifetime require a little more courage than we currently have. A deep breath and a leap. So, after three wondrous years as Managing Director of FC Pinzgau Saalfelden and five years with the Fan Owned Club, the time has come for me to say farewell to this trailblazing project and the breathtakingly beautiful Republic of Austria. Representing this club, both locally and internationally, has been a true privilege and a rewarding challenge. Each day brought valuable life lessons, cherished memories and countless proud moments as we worked together to elevate the club, both on-and-off the pitch. Already, I feel nostalgia for my time spent in this beautiful corner of the world. The towering mountains, the winding valleys, the vibrant culture and the camaraderie of the people — even the language I never quite mastered — are all indelible memories I will carry with me forever. To the entire team — from the players and coaches to the incredible staff, loyal supporters and our Fan Owners— thank you for your passion, dedication and belief in our shared vision. While it’s bittersweet to step away from my 'study abroad', I am very excited to embark upon yet another deep breath and another leap forward. Danke für alles, Pinzgau, for allowing me call this place home. It’s been an honor. Auf Wiedersehen.
