Fancypants Baking Co. bakes endlessly enjoyable cookies that are crispy, snackable, and just the right amount of fancy. Want to know what it takes to be Fancypants? We’re not shy about telling you. We are proud to make our cookies with the real, recognizable ingredients our founder Maura used in her own kitchen. That means bonafide butter and eggs, with zero junky or artificial ingredients to ruffle your feathers. And we do it in a way that’s deliciously sustainable—baking with upcycled oat flour and turning our food waste into renewable energy. We do all of that so you can have your own feel good, fancy moment. Whether it’s at the end of a long day or even at the beginning of one, we’re here to make your day feel just a smidge more special.

    3 days, 4 halls, hundreds of booths, unlimited samples. The #FancyFoodsShow continues to evolve beyond imported products, meat, cheese and chocolate into an impressive array of innovation, product trends and upstart brands. Here's a glimpse from this years show: ?? Crazy Crossovers - Brands are proving there's no shortage of imagination in the food and beverage space. S'NOODS is making chips out of pasta, Pastazerts is making chocolate dough ravioli with sweet fillings, and Mush Foods 50 Cut brand is combining mycelium with meat for 50/50 patties and sausages. More brands are combining interesting ingredients, formats and flavors into unique and novel experiences that get people talking (and eating). ???????????? Dynamic Diversity - In addition to the international booths there were many bipoc brands and even an aisle focused exclusively on diversity-owned brands! Products like Tari Peruvian sauces, NOURRIR DRINKS INC African sparkling beverages, MYOJO U.S.A., INC. Japanese yuzu ramen, Heart & Seoul Food Co. Korean bone broth, Peepal People South Asian hot sauce, The Cumin Club freeze-dried masala, African American Rejuvenation energy drinks and The Manischewitz Company Jewish staples are just a few examples from the show. With more representation comes greater industry vibrancy, more exciting flavors, and foods from all over the world entering America's lexicon. ?? Curb your caffeine: As many energy drinks push caffeine to higher levels there's a counter movement towards less and more subtle energy. Explorer Cold Brew launched 12oz half-caf and a decaf ready-to-drinks, as did Snowing in Space Coffee with a half-caf can. Half & zero strength coffee are on-the-rise in single serve formats as consumers look for a little less caffeine in their life or want something that doesn’t punch as hard later in the day. ?? NA Madness - Cheese, charcuterie and alochol. This holy trinity is now being made even holier by the non-alc movement. New brand Guinep launched a non-alc rtd made of deep ocean minerals and guinep fruit essence (it's worth the google). Ceybon launched a mushroom-infused aperitif line. Moment | Drink Your Meditation, Ghia & NON wine we're amongst a handful of other NA brands present at the show. ? Pushing Purity - While most new brands avoid anything artificial, there's a class of founders pushing for even cleaner and less-processed products. Candid is making incredible chocolate products that are ethically sourced and without refined sugars. Fancypants Baking Co. launched cookies with "ingredients from your pantry" that you can actually read as opposed to ChipsAhoy. FoodNerd makes the cleanest, most nutrient dense dry baby food on the market. Fresh Fizz Sodas use no flavorings, just real food ingredients. Many other brands are becoming free from seed oils, gums and natural flavors as the industry pushes for purity. I geeked out over all of the data provided by NielsenIQ, the insights shared by the 3 guest panelists (each of whom spoke to WHY supporting "natural" is so important to our economy, our environment, and our future), and the brands that generously handed out samples last night. ?? I was very happy to walk away with my treats from Fancypants Baking Co. (the chocolate chip cookies were my fave), Grandy Organics (yes, the peanut butter IS awesome!), and Trillium Brewing Company (I can't wait to enjoy these when Dry January is over!). We're moving away from our previous focus on decorated cookies to embark on a new chapter centered around delicious, indulgent, and sustainably made treats. This strategic shift aligns with changing consumer preferences for indulgence (who doesn’t love delicious cookies right?) but also reflects our commitment to meeting the demand for #sustainable and eco-friendly products.
