Family Promise of Bergen County

Spring is here, and so is the Family Promise Hike for Hope! Join us on Sunday, May 4 for a three-mile walk through Ridgewood in support of children and parents facing homelessness in our community. Leading up to our event, hikers form teams, create personal fundraising campaigns, and complete challenges to win prizes. After our walk on May 4, we'll celebrate with music, activities, giveaways, games, contests, prizes, and more at Van Neste Square. All proceeds from the Hike for Hope will benefit Family Promise of Bergen County's vital housing, support, and meal programs for working families experiencing homelessness. With?programs?that provide temporary housing and personalized, wrap-around support, Family Promise of Bergen County offers both immediate and long-term relief to working parents with children facing homelessness. You can directly fund these life-changing services—which help hundreds of families in our community, just like Darlene’s—by purchasing a ticket for our Super Cash Raffle on March 26. Every ticket sold gives you a chance to win a Grand Prize of 25% of up to $25,000 (or one of five $1,000 second prizes) while helping struggling families achieve self-sufficiency. Today marks the 34th anniversary of the Family Promise Walk-in Dinner Program! Over the past few decades, the Walk-in Dinner has provided more than 1.4 million nutritious meals to thousands of families and individuals facing hunger, serving more than 70,000 meals in 2024 alone. But this would not be possible without the hardworking volunteers, dedicated meal providers, and generous donors who make this “little miracle” happen night after night. Thank you for all that you do!

Support the Family Promise Youth Council by dining at QDOBA in Fair Lawn THIS Thursday, February 27, from 4-8 PM! A portion of sales from in-person, online, and catering orders will be donated to the Youth Council.
