Thank you Heibar for your generous care package donation! ? Heibar was kind enough to donate care packages containing a water bottle, beanie, gloves, an emergency blanket, and hand warmers after holding a volunteer event where 85 volunteers came together to stuff these care packages.? ? As the temperatures decrease, the homeless population faces even more challenges on top of an already very stressful time. Colorado winters dip below freezing most nights and making it through the night can be very challenging, donations such as these can save a life.? ? Thank you Heibar for your generous donation, with these care packages we can assist even more people as we approach the colder months.? ? If you are interesting in making a donation, get in contact with us at 303-675-0713 or [email protected]? ? #nonprofit #endhomelessness #familypromise?

Did you know that this year Denver is projected to reach record high eviction filings? It is predicted that eviction filings for 2024 are predicted to hit 15,000. Through July of 2024, there have been over 9,000 evictions compared to 12,910 in 2023, 8,863 in 2022, and 4,879 in 2021. One of the reasons for this is due to the rising cost of living with the cost of a one-bedroom apartment increasing by $100-$150 each year. While these stats are alarming, it goes to show how much the services of Family Promise are needed to assist those being evicted due to the rising cost of living. To learn more about who Family Promise is or how you can get involved, you can find out more information here – https://www.fpgd.org #nonprofit #homelessness #endhomelessness #coloradononprofit

“We truly believe in the mission and impact of Family Promise and the positive impact the program has on families’ lives. We appreciate the staff and volunteers and our monthly contribution is minimal compared to the impact of those that are doing the hard work of helping families” This is a testament of one of the many monthly donors of Family Promise of Greater Denver who have been donating and volunteering with Family Promise for over 5 years. Donors like this who contribute to Family Promise monthly is what allows us to keep providing lifesaving services to those experiencing or at risk of experiencing homeless. No donation is too small to help a family today, if you are interested in becoming a monthly donor, you can learn more about the levels and get started here - https://lnkd.in/gtA3ApTj
