The final day of our National Conference ended with two car donations from the National Auto Body Council! The cars were donated to families that were served by a Family Promise site just outside of Indianapolis. We would like to send a big THANK YOU to the National Auto Body Council for their generous donation. The gift of transportation changes the trajectory of a family's life. ?? The NABC also set up an exhibitor table to teach Conference-goers about their work. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Extended Stay America, and Bloomerang also had tables set up. We're so grateful they made the trip to Indianapolis to join us at Conference! ??

The second full day of our National Conference was a success! ?? Conference-goers had the opportunity to attend 15+ workshops that were hosted by industry experts in fundraising, housing services, storytelling, and so much more. At lunch, Family Promise board member and Professor of Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University, Michael Moody, presented a keynote to our network on the state of fundraising in the United States. Later in the day, a group of attendees participated in a poverty simulation, hosted by Think Tank, Inc., that proved to be a powerful and thought-provoking experience.

Tuesday was an event-filled day at our National Conference! ?? - Family Promise CEO Cheryl Schuch spoke to Conference attendees about the impact we’re making in communities across the country and the need to expand and optimize our services going forward. - Attendees began attending workshops! - We awarded our longtime partner, Clayton, the inaugural Karen Olson Impact Award. ? When Karen Olson founded Family Promise, she kickstarted a movement that positively impacts the lives of tens of thousands of families each year. Clayton is ensuring we continue that impact. Since our partnership began in 2019, Clayton and partners inspired by their giving have helped over 25,000 families across the country and greatly bolstered our homelessness prevention services. - Family Promise’s board chair, Betsy Bernard, thanked attendees for their impactful work around the country and introduced the evening's inspirational keynote speaker, Liz Murray (pictured with Cheryl in the third photo).
