Happy International Women's Day!???? ? Today, we celebrate the women building brighter futures for their families AND the women across the Family Promise network providing support to families in their communities every day.

Family Promise of Hawaii recently hosted its inaugural Childhood Homelessness Symposium. ? National and local experts, advocates, and community leaders gathered to address the issue of childhood homelessness and explored solutions to combatting the critical issue. Members of the Family Promise national office were also in attendance. ? Family Promise CEO Cheryl Schuch delivered a keynote explaining why children experiencing homelessness are?uniquely vulnerable and Family Promise's Regional Director Stacy Sutton Pollard shared public policy updates.

Happy Women's History Month!??? This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of women everywhere—especially the courageous mothers and caregivers who work tirelessly to create brighter futures for their families.

The Divine Nine is a historic council of Black Greek-letter fraternities and sororities founded on principles of scholarship, service, and unity. For over a century, these organizations have uplifted communities across the country and served as a cornerstone of Black culture, education, and leadership. Recently, two Divine Nine sororities spent time volunteering for Family Promise. #BlackHistoryMonth

Last week, Cheryl Schuch, Lindsay Moore, and Jason Parry went on a Family Promise tour of Texas where they visited six Family Promise sites in the Lone Star State. ? They met with staff, celebrated successes, shared the national office's vision for the future, and got an up-close view of the impact being made on the ground in Texas! ? ? The six Family Promise sites they visited were: - Family Promise of Bell County (Temple, TX) - Family Promise of Bryan-College Station (Bryan, TX) -?Family Promise of Montgomery County (Conroe, TX) - Fort Bend Family Promise (Missouri City, TX) - Family Promise of Clear Creek (Webster, TX) - Family Promise of Lake Houston (Humble, TX)

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a champion of both civil rights and economic justice. Dr. King believed that true equality could not exist without addressing systemic poverty and inequality. In 1968, Dr. King organized The Poor People's Campaign to unite people across racial and economic divides to demand fair wages, access to education, affordable housing, and dignity for all. ? Six decades later,?Family Promise sites across the country work every day to ensure families have access to safe and affordable housing.
