Meet Doula Daisy, our dedicated Bilingual Doula at Family Focus DuPage! Since stepping into her doula role in September 2024, Daisy has brought warmth, experience, and compassion to every family she supports. With a background in early childhood education, she brings a deep understanding of child development into her work with expecting parents. Doula Daisy has already supported moms through high-risk pregnancies and NICU journeys, showing up with knowledge and heart every step of the way. Meet Doula Adriana A. our thoughtful and passionate Bilingual Doula at Family Focus DuPage. Adriana began her journey with us as a Family Support Specialist in October 2023 and recently stepped into her new role as a Doula in April 2024. With a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison—along with certificates in Disability Rights DC at University Legal Services and Chicano/a and Latina/o Studies—Adriana brings a deep and intentional approach to her work. Adriana is trained in birth support and Spinning Babies techniques, and she’s working toward her DONA certification and Lactation Consultant credentials to continue growing in her role. Since joining the team in November 2023, Anahi has jumped in with both feet—attending her first birth just weeks into the role and discovering that supporting moms during pregnancy and labor is exactly where she’s meant to be. Trained in "Spinning Babies" and always eager to grow, she brings knowledge, comfort, and encouragement to every family she serves. As a proud mom of a sweet 4-year-old, Anahi understands the deep importance of community and support during the perinatal journey. Meet Doula Adriana S. Doula Program Manager – Family Focus DuPage Since joining Family Focus DuPage in 2019, Adriana, has been a driving force behind the growth and success of our Doula Program. Starting as a Family Support Specialist, she quickly rose to Doula Program Manager by 2020, and has since expanded services across DuPage, NW Cook, and Kane Counties- ensuring that more families receive the compassionate care and guidance they deserve. A devoted wife, mom, and proud dog mom to Hermione (yes—she’s a Harry Potter fan!), Adriana balances her professional passion with joy-filled time spent cooking, traveling, and learning. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Southern Illinois University, Adriana is deeply committed to building even more opportunities and partnerships to elevate our unique doula program and the families we serve. Dr. Cicchetti is the Executive Director of the Center for Childhood Resilience, a Clinical Psychologist at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Children’s Hospital, and an Associate Professor at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine. Her life’s work centers on reducing health disparities and addressing trauma through bold, equity-driven mental health strategies that reach far beyond the clinic—into schools, homes, and communities. Her leadership reminds us of what’s possible when we center healing, equity, and community resilience.
