  • Families Living Violence Free is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Langston-Eley as our new Executive Director. Amy brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success. She has consistently developed innovative educational programs and initiatives that foster engagement and enhance performance. Throughout her career, Amy has expertly managed teams, integrated emerging technologies, and ensured compliance with laws to minimize legal risks. She is dedicated to strengthening our programs, enhancing staff development, and driving impactful change within our community. She holds an Administration License from Gardner-Webb University, an M.S. in Education (Instructional Technology) from American Continental University, and a B.S. in Organizational Management from Saint Paul’s College. Additionally, she has NC Educator’s Licenses in various areas and a Global Career Development Facilitator Certification. We are excited to welcome Amy to our team and look forward to the innovative initiatives and compassionate leadership she will bring to our organization and the community we serve.

The decline, felt in every state in the nation, continues a 6-year downward trend and serves as a wake-up call for crime victims’ rights advocates, says Caroline Farmer, executive director of the Governor’s Crime Commission.
